Very dense and deep garnet.A very inviting and expressive nose opens up on notes of black currants (cassis), blackberry, licorice, caramel and citrus rind. The body is very balanced and elegant yet powerful. The wine has a very long finish with impressive flavors of blackberry liqueur and coffee.

Impressive dark violet color. An intense fruit-laden Cabernet Sauvignon with concentrated layers of blackberries, ripe currents, fig paste and cedar. Ripe and powerful tannins that coat the mouth with seductive and layered flavors. This wine ends with long and intense waves of black fruits.

Elegant notes of black currant, oak, chocolate and firm tannins end in a long and memorable finish.

The combination of early thinning, a long, mild run-up to the harvest, a low yield of 1.87 tons/acre, and the warm microclimate of the Tulocay region (soon to be an official viticultural appellation—watch this space) has made our inaugural vintage a muscular and extracted wine.
