Deep garnet color. Bouquet shows expressive black fruit and oak notes on the nose. Rich, elegant, and intense flavors of cassis, blackberry, blueberry, cedar box, tobacco leaf, and dark chocolate on the palate The finish is long & elegant with refined tannins that coat the mouth with seductive layered flavors of black fruit, spice & a touch of mocha.
Aged 18 months in 60% New and 40% once used French Oak. Two American 3 year, air-dried Oak barrels added for vanilla

Could taste a hint of tobacco and currants. Well balanced. Enjoyed with a filet off the grill. I will definitely come back for more. As stated by the rep at Costco, best after letting breathe for at least an hour.
